Our medical services start with a physical, orthopedic and neurological examination to properly evaluate your condition to get you the best results possible. We utilize cutting edge, minimally invasive treatments for pain relief. These include trigger point injections and joint injections using plant based analgesics – no cortisone or steroids. We also offer pain relief for osteoarthritis of the knee with our hyaluronic acid injections. In addition, we provide diagnostic studies, such as EMGs and NCVs to further diagnose your problem.

Our medical services, when combined with our other physical medicine modalities, are the modern approach for effective pain relief and functional restoration.

Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a hands-on, natural approach to health and healing that has been actively practiced since 1895. Doctors of Chiropractic are highly trained in the relationship of the spine and nervous system and how it relates to overall health and proper bodily function.

Using the ProAdjuster technology, our doctors perform effective and gentle adjustments to the spine and extremities. Our patients love the gentle treatments and great results. Therapy & Rehabilitation
We incorporate muscle work, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and proprioceptive rebalancing to enhance our chiropractic treatments and non-surgical spinal decompression (NSSD). This gives our patients the best results in the shortest amount of time. Each case is treated with an individual therapy and rehab program to fit each patient's specific needs. Our friendly and knowledgeable therapy and rehab staff, led by our associate doctor of chiropractic, follow out the doctor's prescribed regimens and help guide each patient through their program for maximum benefit.

A unique feature of our therapy and rehab department is the use of the Core Spinal Fitness Lumbar Strength Machine (Lumbar MedX). This specialized machine isolates the lower back muscles so they can be strengthened and reconditioned. The MedX is part of our proprietary therapy program to help patients decrease pain, aid in disc hydration and even prevent future lower back injuries.

In addition, our proprietary therapy and rehab program utilizes electric muscle stimulation (e-stim), cryotherapy, as well as prepares patients for a HEP (home exercise program) they can use to continue self-care at the comfort of their own home. We also are equipped to fit custom orthotics to patients using our 3DO weight bearing imaging technology.

Spinal Decompression
We were one of the first offices to offer True Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression (NSSD) utilizing the DRX 9000 lumbar system in Ventura County. Over the past four years, we have helped local residents, as well as people from all over California get relief from debilitating lower back pain, sciatica, facet syndrome, disc degeneration, disc bulges and disc herniations.

NSSD works by slowly stretching the vertebra in such a way where the muscles relax, rather than tighten up and spasm. This creates a lower pressure inside the vertebral discs which allows nutrients, oxygen and fluid to flow into the disc and waste and other materials to exit the disc. This "milking" action can help reduce disc bulges and herniations.

NSSD is so comfortable and relaxing that most patients fall asleep on the table. Our patients have experienced reduction in pain and an improvement in function. Some patients have even used NSSD as an alternative to surgery or to help with past failed lower back surgeries. All patient's conditions and responses are different, therefore, like any other medical procedure, we can not guarantee results.

We have a proprietary NSSD program that is tailored to fit each patient's condition. This can include therapy and rehabilitation. However, not everyone is a candidate for NSSD. Therefore, we offer a consultation and evaluation with one of our highly trained doctors. We perform specific orthopedic and neurological tests, as well as review x-rays, MRIs, and CT scans to determine if NSSD is right for you.

Cold Laser Therapy
We use cold laser therapy to help patients with all types of pain, but most frequently for symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). The cold laser is a painless, drug-free approach that has helped so many of our patients get out of pain and back to their busy lives.


Digital Motion X-Ray
Digital Motion X-Ray (DMX) is digital x-ray with the patient moving in the upright, weight bearing position. DMX allows our doctors to diagnose any ligamentous injuries usually undetectable by standard x-ray or MRI studies. These studies are mainly used when the patient has been in a motor vehicle accident, slip or fall, or similar types of trauma. Our doctors are of a small number in California that are specially trained to perform and read DMX studies. We utilize DMX studies with our own patients, as well as perform many DMX studies for other doctors and attorneys of trauma and accident cases.
